She's connected.

Connected Consulting Founder and CEO Marnie O'Brien Primmer is an award-winning strategic thinker.  She has built a career from connecting the dots between people, policy, and projects.  After nearly two decades of building a comprehensive knowledge base and network in infrastructure project delivery Marnie O'Brien Primmer founded Connected Consulting in 2015.

Marnie has been serving the Southern California region for over two decades. Her extensive network encompasses seven counties, two capitols, dozens of decision makers and hundreds of transportation professionals and project stakeholders.

She's committed.

She's collaborative.

A recognized expert in coalition-building, Marnie is an accomplished public speaker. She serves on the California Freight Advisory Committee (CFAC) where she is known for surfacing critical issues and encouraging strategic thinking regarding how California competes for federal funding. She chaired the National Alliance of Public Transit Advocates (NAPTA) for seven years, providing support to grassroots advocacy organizations across the country in their efforts to increase investment in public transit.

Marnie served two terms as president of the WTS Orange County chapter and has also served in various leadership capacities for WTS Los Angeles, WTS San Diego, and WTS Inland Empire chapters as well as serving on WTS International committees. She serves on the planning committee of the annual Focus on the Future Conference hosted by the Self-Help Counties Coalition.

She's charismatic.

Driven by a competitive spirit and a strong desire to make a difference in her community, Marnie is always willing to pay it forward.  In addition to mentoring up-and-coming young professionals she volunteered for school-based groups in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District and helped found LA's BEST Friends, raising $100,000 in the first year.

Marnie graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College, attended the University of Chicago, and received her MBA from the University of California at Irvine.

When my clients come to me with a problem, they aren't just looking for me to fix that immediate issue. They're looking for guidance and advice to help them sidestep future pitfalls.
